The induction ceremony of President Preetam Mohitram was held at Domaine Anna, Flic en Flac on Saturday 8 July 2023 In his speech he reminded us that the goal this year “is to restore hope “— Pdt Preetam reiterated his wish to see all Rotarians coming together to create hope in the club, the community and the world at large. We will create hope by focusing on health, especially mental health, education and climate change and the environment.

President Preetam made his first official visit on 13 July 2023 by attending the assembly of the Royal College of Curepipe Interact Club. He received a warm welcome from President Siddarth and all the members who assured him of their support
Pdt Siddarth made a brief presentation of the activities planned for the year 23/24.
In his speech, Pdt Preetam asked them to focus their activities on education and the environment. Were in attendance PP Jeet, Chairman of Young Generation and PP Manda.
The induction ceremony of the President and Board of the SSS Forest Side Boys Interact Club took place on 15 August 2023 on the school premises. 36 new members were also inducted

PP Ramesh , Director of Projects organised a function for the Distribution of Blankets to a selected group of vulnerable elderly persons from Lower Cité Malherbes on Saturday 29 July at the Wooton Social and Resource Centre.
He made a speech reminding them of the aims of Rotary and said he hoped the blankets will be useful as winter can be quite harsh in the region
Pdt Preetam addressed the audience and said this function showed how much the Rotary Club of Curepipe cared for our elderly. This was in line with our objectives

The Rotary Club of Curepipe was chartered on 7th October 1974 by a dynamic group of founder members and history notes tell us how committed they were and how diligently they accomplished their mission as Rotarians. Today members of the club are pursuing this noble mission.
